Bactrian Pendant Ornament fashioned from a conch shell. Circa 3,500-4,000 BC, Turkmenistan, Central Asia

Provenance: Archaeological find originally from the BMAC (Bactria-Margiana Archaeological Complex). Purchased from a private collection.
Age: (c) 5,000 - 6,000 years old - but probably much older as it would have been traded and re-traded in from people living near the sea.
Size: 63mm
Condition: Excellent patination, drill holes are ancient and worn with their own patina of use.
